Is this shop a certified, reputable place? If so make them replace the damn thing for you. You don't pay people who are supposedly skilled in this field to phuk up your ****.

Have the guy replace the dash. How well do you know him ? If he won't agree then go half on the replacement or livce with the scratch. That one of the reasons why you should do things yourself if you can. Sorry to hear abou thte scratch though. Or atleast tell him to knock off 100 bucks for the alarm...........

I also would like to know if anyone can or has gotten out or covered light scratches on the plastic panels and how. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx

Go to your local dealer and ask for the name of the vinal person who repairs their broken dashes and seats and have the guy who scratched the dash go half on the repair. I had a dash completly repainted ofr $100.00 without taking it out. He also filled the holes where the person before me had a cell phone mounted. You couldn't even tell it was there.

This might work for light scratches 3M Plastic Polish p/n 39010 from hypermartshop.net $10.95 with shipping everyone else wants $8. The product was $.95 cheeper and the shipping was $3.95 UPS. Mothers also sells some for $4.95 but 3M is a better company with more exp and R&D.

Just an FYI, I just ordered this directly from 3M's online store and the total shipped was $7.92. Thanks for the info, hopefully it works, I scratched my dash with my key the 2nd week I had my car.

Did not work as well as I had hoped, my scratches are too deep. Any other suggestions?
