Debadging Frustrations

Debadging Frustrations
I've searched, but haven't found much info. I'd like to debadge my Pro5 but have run into some snags.
On the front, I'd like a plain grill. The big Mazda logo is screwed on and sits in a moulded recess so taking it off would look odd. Does anyone sell a plain grill that looks like the stock one??
On the back, I *really* want to take the small Mazda logo off. It looks crampd in the small space they put it in. But it is SCREWED on! I suppose this means the only way it comes off is to unscrew it and have a body shop fill in the holes and repaint. No thanks... way to much work there.
So I guess I'm just venting my frustration more then asking a question. Has anyone had any luck with this?

lol. Yeah.
Shaved Door Panels:
yeah this means mouldings. I really need to change that.
Shaved Rear Emblems:
Shaved is just a word used for removing emblems. We removed the emblems, which left four alignment holes in the trunk. So we welded and patched the holes. And then repainted the trunk
Iridescent Strobes:
Iridescent is just a name that was on them. They aren't colored strobes, they are clear. And yeah it is similar to a pace car. But I can change the timings. It's neat for show. And you can pull stupid people over on the road when they think you're a cop. I tell you, fun times with these.

Just a question...
I was just wondering why people debadge there cars? Is there a reason, or is it just personal preference? Ive seen some vehicles, like the "Mercedes" truck in the new Busta Rhymes video was a debadged Ford or Chevy truck.
Dont get me wrong, I am completely for doing what you want to do to your own car, but im just curious.

I found a solution to my issue with the oversized Mazda logo on the front grill. I think I will paint it satin black. It will blend in visually and look better in my opinion. Until a nice, badgless grill comes along.
I’d still like to get that little center Mazda logo off the back but I’m not willing to go the body shop route with filling holes and painting, etc. So it stays for now.

Re: badgeless front grill...
Just for a laugh, I was at my local Performance Improvements centre one day and they had a grill for a Civic typeR (or reasonable knockoff). I grabbed it off the wall and went out to my '99 and I couldn't believe it but it fit perfectly (No I didn't shoplift...the manager is a friend of mine) . All that would be needed would be to fabricate mounting behind the grill! There also are grills with mesh in them if you prefer!
It would also change the look of the car slightly because it was sloped like the front end, unlike the origional Mazda grill which is more-so vertical.
