Which deck would...

Which deck would you choose to put into your P5 if you had $200-$300? I've been looking at several decks and I keep coming back to the Kenwood Z727($250) and the Pioneer DEH7400($260). I think both decks have thier ads and disads but I'm gonna use the eXcelon speakers from the MP3. So, the Kenwood makes more since. Plus it's silver and would match the silver palte in the P5 interior. I've never owned a Kenwood and not sure about its reliablity. I've had several Pioneer's and they've been nothing but excellant. So which would you choose or is there another deck thats better for this price. Spanx for the help.

I have owned kenwoods in the past and have one in my car now...they are excellant. Did you see the posts about the MP3 speakers not fitting in your rear doors? Did you already buy them???

I haven't bought any of the componets yet. And I know the front doors are 5X7's and the rear are 6.5's. Or is it visa versa? Anyways I think I'm buying the Z727 tonite or tomorrow...is there going to be any probs besides it being single DIN and a wireing harness? I really like the reviews on the eXcelon stuff so I might as well use them with the Kenwood deck. I'm gonna have to go with a Bazooka tube or something that doesn't take up much space. If you can't tell I'm trying to make my P5 into a P8...a cross of MP3 and P5. The wheels are coming next.

Cool, I have an old 15" that broke the rear view mirror in my old car, but I don't need anything like that anymore. I want some quality during highway driving really. My next project is the MP3 wheels and suspension. I saw a P5 with MP3 rims on it on one of the posts, but I can't remember where. The funny thing is my dad picked my P5 up last friday and I have'nt been home from school yet to even see it. Good news is I leave for home in 2 days!
