DGM Carbon Fiber Spoiler fading -- FIXED!!
So I was pickin up some wax today to finish off what I started yesterday with the clay barring, and I figured I'd try out something to get the oxidation off the CF spoiler removed as well. Picked up some Meguiar's Scratch X and went to town.
UNBELIEVABLE results!! I really didn't expect much to happen, but I started out on just the corner of the spoiler. It started looking a lot better and the next thing you know I've made it halfway accross the spoiler. I just applied a tiny bit on a spongy applicator and rubbed it in 2-3 in diameter circles. Then I turned the applicator over to the clean side and wiped off the excess substance in horizontal strokes. Here are pics of Before & After.

There is still a tiny bit left in the center that I'm gonna try to focus on when I get off work, but overall I think it made a HUGE difference. I'll be doing this to my old DGM hood as well to see if I can restore it as well. It should make selling it a LOT easier!!
