digital thermometer (inside/outside)
anyone know where i can get a digital thermometer to read inside and outside temperature.. soemthing like this?
don't really need a compass though, my detector already has one.

Try one of those geek stores, like discovery.com or something... It's gotta be something science related I'm sure.
Get something that you can build into the car, not just stick on the dash. Down by the cupholders maybe?

I found it. The first digital thermometer you posted about. It is made by a company called Sharper Image. Here is a link to their web-site and the Digital Car Compass with Time, Temperature & Ice Warning Part# CE350. Still not cheap its $69.95.

I FOUND ONE AND BOUGHT IT!!! .. and installed it too
$64.20CAD at costco!!! its got a blueish backlight, pretty neat, still can't friggin calibrate the compass, i need to make a 20second 360° turn.. WTF!

i got this exact one, the wayfinder V2000,
i will take pictures later, i wanted to mount the thing in my roof since i have no sunroof and there is a blank space close to the windsheild but the thing can only tilt 20° (it will screw up the compass if you go past 20) so i can't mount it there
