Do Altezzas lights melt easily? Need advice from owners.

My buddy took some pics of my car yesterday with his digital camera. I wanted to make sure that he got a picture of the screwed up carbon fiber tail on the passenger side. While we were taking them, I noticed that the driver side tail has the same type of white residue in it in the exact same spot as the other. I am getting another set shipped to me ..probably have them in 5-10 days.
I will post some pics of the screwed up tails and some general pics of my ride as soon as he emails them to me.
By the way the Toucan tails that I saw today for $297 CDN were the same as the ones on the Wings West Protege. I don't think that the chrome look will work as well as the carbon fiber on a black car.

OK.
I finally have some pics.
I just threw them up on the web. Click on the thumbnails to view. I'll try to make a decent page when I have time but you should be able to see the problems with the CF Altezza's.
Click on my WWW button below.
Hope it helps.

Thanks. I appreciate it.
Those are the first pics I have of my car. I've had it for almost a year too!
I'm gonna get some pics of my seat covers when they come in too.
The fog spots aren't all that bad ...it's just annoying that they are there. The tails do look better in person because they look more three dimensional. In the pics they look very flat.

Yeah I talked to a tech at APC and he said if it was within 3 months of purchasing the tails then I should return them to the place where I bought them.
I contacted the company and they said they can either exchange my tails when they receive my defective ones or they can charge me for a second set, ship them, then credit me once my defective set is sent back to them.
I talked to someone else on here and he said he's on his second set of carbon fiber apc's and they have both had the same problem as mine.
It looks like stressed plastic ... maybe the trick is to loosen the bolts a little? Who knows ... Has everyone's APC altezza's done this be it carbon fiber or chrome?

Yeah I totally agree ...it seems as if everyone's having problems with the APC. The guy I talked to at APC seemed surprised that they had a problem ...I'm sure more people have called complaining before
It was protetype that has gone through 2 sets already.

Cool pics and info Johnnyman.
My carbon fiber ones has the exact same problem, and on both of them too. Its cool to know that this seems to be the common problem of these APC lights. And as I mentioned in the early posts, I suspect this fogging is not due to moisture, but more like stress/overheated plastic...or should I say cheap, crappy plastic
Johnnyman, my question for you is: Have you notice a significant worsening on the fog marks? How long have you had them? And did they kind of stop spreading and stay at certain size after a while? Cause I bought my MP3 that came with those lights installed, and I only had it about a month. And since I don't drive the car on a daily basis, I really can't tell or predict how bad the fogging will spread. After hearing so many defected Altezzas, both carbon and chrome(don't like them that much), I am kind of giving up on getting them replaced and run through the hassle with APC. Quite sure the new ones will go bad in the matter of weeks if not months, as the quality of the product is really the issue, not an ocassional defected pair or two. So instead, I am thinking of coming up with some nice design, using either some nice finish spray paint to cover up the fogged area, while giving the lights a good look. That's why I would like to know if the fog spreads much or no. Right now, my fog marks are pretty close to the size of yours.
