Does anyone have real HID's
#5
Very interesting reading, but did anyone notice that the rest of that site doesn't work. Funny thing is that I've seen plenty of HID conversions on plenty of cars. I personally think that HID kits function better on projector styled headlamps like Celica's, WRX STi headlamps, Intregra's, etc. If you take a look at some cars that come with HID kits, they usually use projectors. Some examples of this are Porsche, Audi, Honda S2000, some Corvette's, Volkswagon.
For those of us who want believe that Daniel Stern Lighting opinion, you can always opt for the Catz Zeta lighting system. They reatain your factory styled bubs, but put more power through them somehow, thus increasing the beam power.

Real HID's for cheap
SerpentKilla has them. He is a friend of mine that has a P5. I think he paid like 360something for them. They look really good. I would suggest them....ask him where to purchase, i dont remember where.

talk to a performance shop about importing the JDM HID's, they will be an OEM fit assuming both markets share the same front end (me crosses fingers). It might cost alittle more but you won't have to trim/bend/adjust the universal HID kits since the JDM's should bolt up.

you wouldn't want RHD H.I.D. JDM headlights, you'd want EDM LHD H.I.D. headlights (if they exist)..
Conversion kits aren't all as bad as that page makes them out to be, I've got an H.I.D. kit on my Protege with H4 sized D2S bulbs..
You P5 people actually have the advantage of the fact that you'd still have a high beam if you used any generic H.I.D. kit as it's a separate bulb..
Go for it
