$160 is STEEP!

The price to import them was far lower.

Are you sure this is the right price? Maybe that's Canadian dollars? That's one helluva markup.

Looks kind of steep to me also...but if that is the price...and you want them..."Whatdja gonna do?"

How does a group buy work anyway...if the price is correct, how do we do this?

Rishie...

I just recently talked to Rishie and asked him to take a look at this thread and since he is an importer maybe can give us some more insight as to how we should handle this. So let's not get impatient. We WILL get these! Someway, somehow. Let's wait and see what Rishie has to say. Maybe he can handle the importing and we can buy off him. That would work good for all of us, don't you think?

If/When the price is right, then I'm IN.

They must say "Protege" though and be available in blue indiglo lighting.

Thumbs up

I m in too.

Just a note...If it is a US made part it should be duty free. And if its not it should be 6% of purchase price.

Sunridge Mazda here in Calgary has another set for sale, they are the indiglo and say "Protege'5." I think they're asking $210 CAD. Any takers?

It's about $140 USD, and as far as I know they only have the one set left. I could pick them up for someone if I had the money...

Nick, okay so I went to the Hon-Yu site and if you click on their company profile, they list the contries of export which I think to mean the dealers that carry their product. On it they list Canada Mazda dealers but nothin for the US. They do however list California Honda dealers.

So I would think I can contact a local Edmonton Mazda dealer and they should be able to get it. If Sunridge can get is so can the Edmonton dealers.

I even emailed them directly but no reply as of yet.
