Okay so I contacted Stephen of WWW Trading and he will be making a presentation to all the Mazda dealers in Edmonton next week. So it seems that other Mazda dealers, other than Calgary, will have access to these door sills. I spoke to Jim at Jarman Mazda here in Edmonton and he confirmed that yes, he has a meeting set up with him. He is waiting until then to determine the retail price.

Also, as you can see from the web site, the manufacturer in Taiwan also makes these sills for other vehicles so I would think very shortly that every dealer, no matter the brand name, in Canada would be aware of the sills.

I also found out that wwwtrading is the exclusive distributor for this product for Canada, so any contact with the company in Taiwan would be rerouted to WWW trading, I would think.

So the bottom line is I can get my sills from Jarman when they establish a price. Cool

Door SIlls

FOR THOSE WHO WANTS THE DOOR SILLS:

I have spoken to Stephen at WWW Trading. He has asked that anyone wanting the sills to place their order through him. The price for the EL sills is USD$120 plus US$15 Freight (UPS) and the Non-EL sills are $75 plus US$15 freight. All prices are for Protege club members only.

I asked about the ebay items and YES, its him who put them there. He just wants to put one of each set there to have exposure.

Special price for club members?? That's the same damn price as he's got them on eBay! Where's the deal in that?

What a great guy

Ahh, but remember that price might not stay there. If you get into a bidding war then it will be much more than that.

Hey All,

Ok, just got the info from Taiwan at Hon-YU. My sister can do a buy for 180CAN. The biatch part is still getting them here. I dont event know with that price if its better to wait for the dealerships or set up a buy.

Feedback?

Why don't we wait for the dealership to do something. If I recall, Maxx Mazda paid about $210 CDN or there abouts? Shipping from the east is never cheap unless you want to ship by sea and then wait 2 months.

Plus, if something is not quite right with what you get or some part is missing, who are you going to complain to? At least with the dealer you can get some support. If it's all the same I'll wait until Jim at Jarman gets something going.

Good call Skyhawk. Dealership sounds like a good idea to me. I got my P5 at Webers which dealer do you go through?

have any of you seen the ones on Ebay? the metal ones? they look to be either stainless steel or aluminum and ribs running their length...and the P-5 name, which looks to be the same font and size as the hatch badge, in relief in the center? I wish I had the link....the auction started off at $75....they look awsome!

I bought mine from the dealer in Leduc but I am going through Jim at Jarman for my stuff now. I bought my intake there and I have an oil change coming up plus a change out of the tranny fluid to MT90.
