Door Speaker Problem

Door Speaker Problem
Hey guys, I got a 90 LX Protege, and recently installed the Pioneer REV 6.5 speakers in my doors.
Well after putting on the door panel after I was done, then I tried rolling down the window, and it would get almost all the way open and then it hit the speaker.
So the depth of the speakers are to big.
The window rolls down almost all the way except for a couple inches. I can live with it not rolled down all the way, but I am worried someone else may one day try and roll the windows down and just keep rolling and break the speakers.
So I was wondering what are your opinions on how to fix this? I was thinking I could put in a stopper in the door, where when you roll the window down it will hit the stopper instead of the speaker. But that wouldn't be the best way to fix it.
I haven't looked yet to see how much farther I need to move the speaker out so that it won't be in the way. But I read in the forums that you could build just a MDF panel ontop of my dynamat that you mount the speaker on, and I was thinking that may give me enough room.
Is there any better ways of fixing this? Has anyone else had this problem?

Here is some HOMEWORK you can do and pretty much figure out the real answer yourself....
take a flashlight and look THROUGH the grill to your speaker...see how much clearance you have between your speaker an the grill.
remove the door panel again and take the speaker out of the door......roll the window ALL THE WAY DOWN.
use a tape measure and measure from the door to the window where you can see it through the speaker hole...
now set the speaker on a table/floor on its magnet...measure from the ground/table up to the speaker flange....now do the math...what is the DIFFERNCE between those two measurements....
Add just a little bit to the difference and that is how much you need to move your speakers OUT to allow clearence for your windows..
NOW, back to step one where you looked through the grills.....the difference...is there at least that much space? if so...either purchace or make some spacers to go behind your speakers and install them.....
your all set.
