Drill through firewall?

I was working on my Stinger cable yesterday for power to my amp rack but could not find a hole through the firewall anywhere.

Do I have to drill one, or does anyone know where one is located?

I'm in the same boat. If you've got an automatic there's a plastic grommet near where the clutch would be. What I cant see is where it comes out in the engine compartment. Anyone have pictures or can describe it?

i did the same, its not that hard to find, a piece of clear plastic above the break pedal i think. you will have to drill though, just make sure you seal it again. i used some extra bondo that was laying around, im sure there is something better though.

Actualy, It only took me an hour to get the 4gage wire through this little place where other wires go. I pushed a pair of needle nose pliers through to make a tiny hole, then i pushed the 4gage through real hard, it puts a nice seal around it all by it self.

I am going to certified in the morning to get them to help me finish, Its more work that I remembered. I might purchase a new amp and deck while im there too but we will see.
