Easy Access To Front Speaker Leads?

Easy Access To Front Speaker Leads?
I have a 02 Pro ES with the standard factory deck, upgraded speakers, and an amp sub combination in the trunk.
The sub amp gets it's signal from taps to the rear speaker leads.
My next addidion is a 4 channel amp to power the front & rears.
As I already have signals from the rear speakers, I just need the front signal to be able to hook up my 4 channel amp.
Is there any easy way to tap into the front speaker wires? I'd like to avoid having to pull the head unit, and tap into the wires under the dash - before they route into the doors.
I noticed there is a panel on each side of the dask - in the area where the dash panel meets the front doors. Does anyone know how to remove these?
I have the wire colors, so if I could get to them easily through this panel it would be an easy process to run a signal to the amp and back to power the speakers.
Thanks in advance for any advise you can give on removing these panels.

I see you've got ideas on how to get to the wires in your head already, but I have to try to convince you that pulling the deck is definitely the easiest way to do this.
Get the proper tools (Ford/Mazda "radio pullers" - they look like skinny "U" shaped pieces of metal) - buy them or borrow them, I've heard even Wal-Mart has them. With those tools (they're cheap, too - under $10), the deck slides right out with no removal of any other dash pieces. This is by far the easy way, IMO.
I think finding and tapping into the wiring in the side kick panels will be tough - the wires do not really run down there - they stay up high under the dash and enter the door through a molex-type connector. If you look at the rubber boot in the door jamb, you'll see how high up it is. It's a tight space to work in also, and the wires have virtually no slack.
Pull the deck. It'll be much simpler, IMO.
Good luck!
