Finally finisheda couple of mods i'd been slowly working on over the past week.

First is the debadge/rebadge i did. stripped off the body molding and the '2.3' from the sides. took the 'mazda' and '3' badges off the rear. stuck on the 'axela' badge where the 'mazda' used to be, and set one of the '2.3' badges across from it. here's pics:





Next thing i did was i finished up my subs install. I'm keeping the HU b/c its the 6-disc MP3 changer, so i had to put in the line out converter. Using a scosche SA3002 amp with 2 JBL GT-410 in a sealed/compartmented box.

Sounds really good

next up is that intake i'd asked about before maybe after the first of the year

 

Nice rebadge job, haven't seen the 2.3 on the hatch door like that before

thank you, thank you. there is a slight downside though. i took the little cover off that allows you to change the bulb in the gate. i took it off to get to the little plastic anchors that held the mazda badge, and now i can't find it. ><;
