hack for keyless entry update

THIS DOESN'T WORK CORRECTLY!!! This morning I used the unlock button on the door to unlock the doors but it only opened the drivers door. Sorry , I will redo the hack today and post it tonight. I think I need to splice the switch wire. Sorry for the confusion.

Look under the drivers side dash and find the yellow relay box. Remove the box from it's holder and unplug the connector. It is an easy mod to unlock all the doors with one push of the unlock button on the remote. After you remove the relay box take a small screwdriver and remove the relay and boards from it's case. Plug the harness back into the relay box and find the light green and light green with the red stripe. Once you have located them mark thre solder joints that correspond to the green wires. Remove the relay box and solder a jumper wire between the two solder joints. Reassemble the cover on the relays and boards. snap the wiring harness back in. Reinstall the relay to it's factory location. You could just cut the wires and solder them together, but my way shows no modification to someone looking under the dash. Now your remote will unlock all the doors with only one push of the unlock button. Draw back is when you unlock the doors with the switch in the door, it has a slight delay opening the other doors. But this still opens all the doors. Hope you like it

Sure it's possible. Depending on how the latch works, a doorlock actuator attached to the key cylider rod or a trunk solenoid attached to the latches pull will do the trick.

although to use it with the OEM keyless will be a hassle, unless you do this....(not sure if this will even work, but in theory it sounds good....

cut the unlock all doors output wire and connect the "out to car" side to the unlock drivers door unlock wire. this will now unlock ALL doors with one press. Now the wire you just cut, keyless module side, still sees a pulse when you press the button the second time...use this to activate the actuator or solenoid.

As I understand it the point of the one and two press is a safety thing. Eg. the wife is approaching the car in a parking lot . . . you only want the one door to open rather than all of them for obvious reasons . . . heck I even like having it occasionally. There is no way that I would change it . . .
