Help with PIAA Fog Light Install

hello everyone!

quick question: how do I thread the wiring for the switch from the engine bay into the cabin?

I've gone through the search and couldn't find the answer. I've read that we can use the existing wiring but I'm not sure if it's wise to do so. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

there are two routes you can take to go from the engine bay into the cabin. one is on the driver's side. it's a grommet full of wires that you can tap into. the second place is the grommet on the passenger side where all the wiring goes into the ECU. just cut the loom and wire it in with the rest of your wiring harness.

Thanks for the quick reply. This is stupid but what is the "loom"?

the loom is the cluster of wires wrapped together by a plastic sheath. carefully cut into the loom if you want to rewrap the wires in there. if not, just poke a hole through the rubber grommet where all the wires go through and feed it through that way.
