TAke off the side panel that is parralel to the door. It just pops out and then the deae switches clip off. Like a wire harness. bEst of luck.

I suggest taking the time to get the dash apart and popping them out from behind while comfortable in your hands. The little slot they have for a small screw driver will consistently tweek it and leave a mark.

Remove the cover from under the steering column, and reach back behind to push them out. They're pretty long, and prying on them from the front of the dash will get you nowhere but a damaged dashboard.

Okay this is a relatively simple procedure. No tools required, just a little patience and willingness to get a little uncomfortable. You will have to lie down in your car with your head by your accellerator pedal. You reach up behind the switch panel in question and stick your hand in there. As already mentioned the blank has an extra plastic frame that makes it long. If you feel around back there you can work it loose very simply. You DO NOT need to take your dash apart or risk prying it out by the front and damaging either your dash or the cover.

I took mine out and put in two switches; one for my grille neon and the other for my washer nozzle LED's. Both switches fit nicely into that blank.

Good luck. Hope I caught you in time.
