How hard is it to upgrade the 3 magic wires in our cars?
#2
Well, 32 people have looked at this so far and they all said...
What?
j/k I assume you mean the ground, power and remote wires?
I'm just in the middle of upgrading my sytem and if its worth doing...I'll upgrade them too...

Im actually about to add on some stuff, any chance that anybody could tell me how to locate the remote wire? i've been told that its necessary for the amp plug/install. I'm not gonna be doing it myself, because I'm a novice when it comes to this stuff, but if I can point it out, a friend take take over the rest.
I took at look at the stickied harness diagram, and lotta stuff there. Wasn't sure if the headunits were the same for the p5 and sedan, and whether it was the constant or switched power wire.
Any input would be fantastic, and greatly appreciated.

Anywho the 3 magic wires are the Positive battery to alternator, Neg to chassis and Neg to engine block.
These are the main wires to change to fix dimming lights and more efficient current flow

I have done the wire upgrade. My car seems to run better. Maybe just the power of sugestion. It took me about 1 hour. I used 4ga for power and neg. I still have to do the alt wire. Didn't cost very much either. I had extra cable and rings.
