OMG - you guys got so ripped off! $150 for WIRING? That's WAAAAYYY too much.
You could have had this kit for $30: http://www.knukonceptz.com/detail.asp?product_id=KOLAK4
Picked up 2 distro blocks for $10-$12 each here: http://www.knukonceptz.com/search_re...&btnSearch.y=9
Gotten a second set of RCAs for $7: http://www.knukonceptz.com/detail.asp?product_id=KLS5M
And been all set. Total cost: about $50
$140? Ouch.

If that's a good deal, I'd like to sell you my 2002 P5 with 37,000 miles on it - I'm only asking $30,000.
Okay - sorry for the sarcasm - but really, wire is wire - there is NO difference in quality from what you bought for $140 to what you could've spent $50 on.

I don't mean to knock on knuconceptz's wires, I'm shure that they're good but I feel better knowing that I have all PG wiring, it might be stupid but it makes me happy and that's what counts, right?
Also, I wanted to keep sort of a "comon theme" with my PG amps.
I knew about that brand of wiring before I got my mine, but I went with the PG because: a) It looks good, and b) I'm 100% shure that it's top notch quality.
BTW, wiring is not just wiring, there are different quality of wires, lousy wiring can make a good sound system sound like crap and I'm amongst the ones who believes that you get what you pay for.

If you are happy, that IS all that matters.
But just a comment on the "quality" theme:
For high-power applications, many people use 1/0 gauge wire - quite thick, and quite expensive.
MANY guys in the industry - including competitors, especially non-sponsored ones - go right to Home Depot and buy welding cable - it's basically 1/0 gauge, and is 1/10th of the price (or less) of name brand wire. The only disadvantage is it has less flexibility. Other than that, it works 100% perfectly, and has all the current-carrying capacity of the pricey stuff, if not more.
If warm and fuzzy feelings and brand theme is what you want, then you got what you paid for - no argument there.
And that is a TOTALLY valid reason to spend the extra bucks, IMHO. Not for me, but I understand why some people do it. The quality argument is a bit sketchy, though. Wire is wire.

Im about 100% sure that the wire i got is better than something you can get at walmart, even if walmart had 4gauge kits.
Sure i spend a hell of alot, but then again i have the advantage of having better wire than all my friends
lol, pathetic reason huh??

The wiring was expensive, but I think the deal I got on my other components make up for that:
JL evolution components, XR525-Cs=200$
PG Tantrum 300.2 amp=300$
Alpine 7995 HU=400$
Local shop, 1 year warranty.

OK maybe i was a little bit ripped.
My kit at best buy was 140, they had one that was 100 but it only had 1 set of RCAs.
But hey its only money, I get a good feeling when i look at the things i buy and say, wow I bought that with my own money. Some people are blessed with rich parents and grandparents that just get everything they want without working hard for it.

The "scores" videos you get to see have some nudity, not much though.
Oh ya the idea sounds good on paper but dont you have to sign the recipt if you return something to best buy?
