Dude isn't the back seat for the ES are different from Protege 5s? I have a 99 ES and the head rest is built in with the seat unlike my Protege 5 that you can remove the head rest for the back seat.. Now that's a thinker for you on how you'd fix that up. Let me know what you did okay.

He has a Red P5 and the covers look wicked. I just picked some up the other day and will get them installed this weekend and post some pics.

They come in red/black, blue/black, yellow/black, and grey/black. They are made by R Racing and in Canada go for about $20 a piece. They're model #303/404 (I think)..

Just an idea
Just as a continuation to this thought, I bought these. Yes they look good, (I might be bias there) they fit ok, the head rest is too big for the P5 head rest, but still fits ok. They attach with little hooks under the seats and the backs pull over like a t-shirt. Nice feel, easy to clean, they do bulge alittle where the recess in the seat is, and you have to cut a hole for the seat back release. But for 40 bucks (for 2) they were worth the money.

Stocker.

i sjut got mine.... they look great inside the car. and as to the integrated head rest on teh 99-00 pros. the middle becoems a lil puffy where there is no rest. but i am thinkig of putting a foam blok there to make up for the space and sorta create a heard reat. other than that the fit is alright. and as for the front twop seat the middle torso section is a lil loose and puffy but i think it iwll mold to me as tiem goes on. ill try to borrow a dig camera and psot pics this weekend.
