Indiglo Gauges

I have a 2000 ES.....I got indiglo gauges and broke off my gas and temp needles....before I found out they dont come out.
Corksport makes gauge faces and state that they fill fit over the needles....course everyone says this

Does anyone know if 2001-up models gauge cluster needles center narrow enough for the faces to fit over

The 99-00 protege gauge cluster needles center have an extra black fin across from needle making it too wide to fit faces over.

Or has anyone with 99-00 model used the gauge faces from corksport and they actually fit without cutting

more or less trying to figure out if the corksport faces will fit without cutting...before I order them and a new gauge cluster

the gauge clusters are the same. Just the faces are diff. Depending on which indiglos you bought. either the normal or reverse. the normal have to be slitted in order for them to fit and the reverse ones witht he center indiglos and the normal reverse supposedly fit over. negatize one of te ppl who basically pioneered putting the gauges in had successfully installed the reverese without slitting. soo.. PM me if you ahve any futher questions. thanks
