Cool installation of new shift ****

Can anybody explain to me how to go abouts changing the shift **** on my '03 P5? is it as simple as pushing the shifter boot down...unscrew the **** and replace?

Any help would do.

PEACE....

i'm assuming you drive an MT pro ...

yeah you just turn counter-clockwise until the **** comes completely out. i do it in traffic/waiting for lights to change ...

don't have to worry about the shifter boot - it is held down where the **** attaches.
