Installing Infinity Reference 652i 6.5" in P5
Hi, has anyone installed the Infiniti Ref's 652i in their P5? Did a search, looks like a lot of good things said about them, but can't find anyone who's actually put them in. I'm curious as to how easy/difficult they were to install.
I believe the rear doors have a 2" depth, the 652i has a 2 1/16" depth according to Crutchfield. Would this be a difficult install for a professional installer (not me).
Thanks

Ahoy,
onehawaiian is right.
I made custom brackets/adapters out of mdf, but a good shop will use similar adapters...
The set comes with a metal adapter (the cad plated ring) that will make the install depth exactly 2inches (I measured it for you). The worry is the window rolling down. If it doesn't they have about 1 inch inside the door panel to play with...
Plenty of room.
