installing the system saturday. Please read.
On saturday I am getting installed 2 JL Audio 10w3's in a custom box and a Zapco 200AG Competition Series Amp. I am putting in a Pioneer head unit also. I am a little worried about the rattling. I have a 2000 DX. I really don't have too much money left to prevent this. I am looking to spend $100 on the prevention. Any advice.

roll with the system for awhile, as you never know just where the rattles (if any) will come from. Once you've listened to a variety of music, you'll have a good idea where to start adding deadener. Adhesive sheets work well and there is a spray type for those hard to reach deep corners and odd spots.

You can also try carped padding for cheap sound deadening/rattle prevention. It's very cheap compared to true deadening material, and widely available, although it's unattractive in spots where you'll see it. Most carpet places, and maybe even Homey Depot, have remnant sections for nice prices. $100 can get you plenty to use in your car.

It didn't go!
My frickin paycheck didn't come in the mail, and it still hasn't to this day. They said they will send it to me next week, I get paid every two weeks. So I am getting 2 paychecks next week. I am buying a new amp though, because the one I have isn't strong enough for the maximum output on the subs. If anyone is interested, I need to get rid of it. $150 for a Zapco AG200 Amp, used one month. It retails at $270, so it is a great deal. E-mail if you are interested.
