iPhone integration

iPhone integration
I own a 2011 Mazda 3 i Touring. I had the dealership install the Sirius radio package, and when they installed it an 30-pin iPod/iPhone connector was put in the glove box. I have found the connector is very useful for playing and charging my phone, but I would like to have it in a more convent spot. Ideally it would go in the center console box. Any ideas on how to do this? Perahps I could just extned it using a dock extender I'm just really not sure the best way to get it in a more convent spot.
Any ideas / suggestions would be much appreciated

You could take out the stereo, and the cup holder and run the cable under there and have it come through the cup holder. I assume the 2011 has the same center stack set up as the earlier generation 3.
This is a basic overview of how to do it and what it will generally look like. Again, I assume. Hope it helps!

I have an 06 Mazda 3. The center stack construction may be the same. I just installed an ipod connection to my stock radio. If you go to gtacarkits.com they have a video on how to take your radio out and install the connection in the ashtray. It was really helpful. They may have a video for the newer 3's. Good luck
