LED Footwell Lighting

I was wondering if anyone has installed LED footwell lights in their 3. I found some being sold on the rx-8 forum and I would like to buy them and wire them to the dome lights so they come on when the door is opened. Does anyone know where a good place would be to tap into the dome light wire?

Here is a link to the lights:

Thanks in advance for the help

Tap a 12v constant power source anywhere, and then tap the variable ground which goes to the maplight (black with an orange stripe if I recall). I think it runs up the driver's side C-post, but honestly it's pretty easy to just run a wire up to the maplights to power them. If you just want one wire run then you can tap the 12v constant at the maplights also.

This is how I have my LED puddle lamps in my mirrors wired. They'll come on when you unlock the car, open a door, or turn off the ignition. More details HERE
