Jee-zuz Kee-rist!!..ok lift your hood...use the prop to keep it from falling on your head and knocking your *** out....now reach underneath and pull off the hoses that supply the washer fluid...you know those black rubber hoses...next squeeze those black clips under there(those are the washers,duh!,and push them out....now youll need to put in your new ones..push them thru the holes in the top of you hood now,dont forget to use the rubber washer,and oh yeah you'll need to thread the wire thru the hole first...now you put the nut on the threads for the new washer and use a needle nose plier to tighten it....I'm not going to tell you how to wire cuz i've typed too much already...notice how I never once mentioned anything about insulation....

njaremka You were 100% right. ITs not comfortable to work but we can reach them without removing the sheild.

I apologize. I did'nt see it at first.

I have a 2000 Protege. I installed mine without removing the insulation. I just pelled back the insulation with my hand and then threades the screw with the other. It was kind of difficult but I eventually got it.
