License plate frame -
In a nutshell...the factory one sucks! Only have the top two screws... so my plate looks like it's flappin'... anyone else have this? Or a solution?
Thank God in my province... I don't have to put a front plate on!
Keep the shiny side up y'all!

Same problem... go to Home Depot, p/u the RED outdoor use double sided tape. Double it up and stick it where the rubber pads are on the backside of the plastic plate frame. Three locations about 1/2cm. wide, 1 1/2 cm long. Works great! My plate was driving me nuts and I tried everything. This has been working for about 3 months. LOVE the fact we dont need front plates... having one sure takes away the look of the car!

here's what i did
My P5 has wide-apart holes in the tailgate which I assume
accomodate Japanese license plates. Screwed into those
holes was a plastic plate holder that had holes in the right
spot for my U.S. plates.
I took off the plastic adaptor and got a license plate frame.
I drilled through the frame and the license plate where the
Japanese holes were. That made it lie flat against the car.
To keep it from scratching the paint and to keep it from
flapping, I cut a piece of flexible magnet to put behind there.
