Mazda 3 stock radio - plays MP3 CDs?

Hi guys,

Just got my first new car on Monday - a Mazda3 Sport GT! I was wondering if the stock CD player (not the upgraded Bose one, just the stock model) is capable of playing MP3 CDs. The vehicle manual doesn't say anything else way but it seems like such a common feature in every deck and DVD player these days that I'd be surprised if it can't read a file system with MP3s on it.
I don't have any blanks here anymore, so I'd sooner find out if I can move my CD collection onto a couple CDs before I buy a new spindle.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

A friend of mine swears he saw on Mazda's site that it worked with MP3 CDs, but I did a test with 800MB of MP3s and it was no go..
Based on what you just posted, is there a different filesystem I can use in burning that might work?
It seems unlikely that there'd be a difference between the US and Canadian stock radio, but I can always hope.
