I seemed to have misplaced the template that mazda provides for the installation for the MP3 sideskirts. Does anyone know a website that might have it or does anyone have the template still???

Any help would be appreciated.....thanks

Call Mazda and ask for it. They were very helpful when I wanted to get thier instructions for installing the accessory strut bar. They sent the instructions via email within a few minutes.

 

Well i called up mazda and they said they couldn't help me....but I bought the parts from mazdastuff and richard there was nice enough to fax me the template.......i just hope the scale is the same.....althought from the looks of it......it doesn't really matter.

 

by anychance if you still haven't installed your sideskirts, don't drill into the body of the car along the side and underneath because on a lot of protege's with these sideskirts rust starts to form there. the way i did mine is i drilled two holes on the corner od the side skirts nest to the rear wheels. becuase if you look at the frame there is already two holes the and then i put the screws on both sides of the sideskirts in the existing holes. as for the rest of the sideskirts i put double sided soft tape which stick very well to the body and peels of without any marks. thats what i did so if you have done it yet email me for more info.

 

damn you can actually ask them for instructions for parts. . . sounds too nice of them for me.


BTW, dealing with the side skirts I just had a ? about painting them. Is it NOT a good idea to have Mazda paint em? I'm not sure where to go about if I get the sideskirts.

sorry to get off topic here, but what did you pay for your MP3 skirt package? I'm personally looking for the MP3/P5 front bumper.

 

yeah don't bother asking mazda for help they are useless as hell........i called up mazdastuff to help me and they were albe to help by faxing the template but it wasn't scaled correctly but i was able to make it work....
