Unhappy Mirrors..

Well, today just hasn't been my day at all. I went to the Dr.'s and when I came out, the mirror from the passenger side of my car was lying on the ground and I have a nice little scratch running along the side now. I'm debating whether to replace the mirror, or to just buy a whole new set.. The only problem with that is deciding on what ones to pick.. If anyone has any suggestions, pics, prices or anything along those lines, please let me know.

dude, i would totally go for the M3 mirrors, they're much sleeker than the stock ones and they're aparently pretty easy to install plus they are power as well so you don't lose that feature...i think you can get em from APC but if you haven't already, check out the protege5 yahoo group called MP5 Online...even if you don't have a p5 alot of the stuff inc. the mirrors will work on a normal proto.

There were some not bad looking ones on ebaymotors for about $190. They were for the protege and electric. I'm sure they're paintable and there were about 20 sets. Good luck.

I'd second the vote for the m3 style mirrors.

i like the look of my car with the mirrors.. but functionality is pure ****. they're tiny compared to the stock mirrors and just don't do their job imo.

I would save my money and get the non-powered mirrors. big price difference and realistically, how often do you adjust your mirriors. I ve only it odne it like twice in the past year and thats because i pressed too hard on it while i was cleaning it....save your money and by non powered! just my $0.02!
