Mp3 spolier on a 2nd gen Protege?

Is it possible to get a MP3 replica spoiler to fit on my 98 Protege ES? All the spoliers that will fit a 98 are kinda lame. Has anybody attempted this or have the trunk measurements for the 2nd and 3rd gen models so I can compare?

I do not think it is physically possible to fit MP3 spoiler on 2nd gen, because 2nd gen trunk line is not enitrely flat, and it is nearly not as wide. I would suggest to get some dimensions first, and think about modifications you might want to add. Also, im my opinion, that wing would not look good on the car, and block much of your rear view.

i guess i could measure my trunk, just need to get someone else to do a 3rd gen. From the mp3's i've seen I don't think it will block too much of my view. Driving my friends 2001 Impreza 2.5RS with its large spolier doesn't block the view that much
just gotta use the side mirrors i guess. So do you think anybody has ever attempted to put one on a second gen? I can't believe i'm the only that has ever thought of that.

Here's the link to the spolier:

have you thought about the new mazdaspeed 2003.5 spoiler?

The Mazdaspeed 2003.5 spoiler isn't bad either. Do you think that would fit? I don't think they have replica wings yet for that tho. I also saw a nice spoiler that some guy in Peru has on his 98

See it here:

But i have yet to attempt to contact him, said it was an Innovacion body kit. Dunno, nothing turns up on google about it.
So what do you think?

no replicas of the mazdaspeed wing as of yet, give it a couple monthes. the wing from peru looks like a wing off of an accord.

a saleen wing might look good.

i've been thinking about the 2003.5 spoiler for a while now.... it is really hard to find a nice spoiler that looks good on our cars... i want one that sticks up a little but not too high... i kinda like the ones on the later neons also but out trunks are a few inches wider so i'm not sure how that would look... the msp one though might work... just have to measure the trunk on one
