MSP Frontlip spliter

the other day i went to my local Mazda dealer and i wanted to get the frontlip spliter from the MSP but the kid at the parts desk didnt nkow what i was talking about.. so i took him over to a speed and showed him the piece i was talking about..... he then went to the computer and still couldnt even find the bloody part.

if anyone knows the part # i think it will be the only way im going to get it.
it is the black ABS plastic lil wing thats under the front bumper.

This has been discussed before. The lip is part of the actual MP3 bumper, and the whole thing needs to be ordered to get it. The plus though is that you will lose the stupid holes for the sidemarkers and get a nice clean bumper...

to my understanding, you cant get it.
that is unless you buy the entire bumper, or find one in a junkyard.
i called a few dealers when i did my front end switch, they said they couldnt find the part number because it was part of the bumper. but then again i could be wrong. if any body does know where to get it, i would be intrested too.

Yeah you are the MAN! Also they can get it from Japanparts.com but you would probably have to wait for it.

Sweet Edwin, thanks for the info!

What's the difference between the "PORT" and "PDC" ones though?

and if anyone can show me some pics of it on the car, that would be great. this wouldn't happen to be the same type of deal that was on the later 3rd gen rx-7's would it? just a black plastic piece under the front fascia? if it is... i want.

and could someone please answer maxx mazda, cause i want to know too.

http://www.mazdastuff.com/product.cfm?ProductID=1773 You should be able to buy directly from that website. I bought my exhaust and spoiler from them. It's called a wind split. Does it make the front end look different or is just for preventing the underside of the bumper from getting scratched?
