Navigation Install?

A few months ago my engine was ruined due a to a dumb a$$ who didn't know how to change the oil correctly! Any ways in my seeming endless quest to locate a used engine, which if any one else has had to do is extremely difficult to do! There really are no engines out there! Well to get to the point I found one in a 2005 that had been rear ended, I also got the guy to throw in the navigation system. However I have no clue how to install the controll **** and buttons that go down by the shifter. I guess I have to cut it, but how do I run the wires? Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hang wires wherever to make sure the system works first. I know when buying that the nav option only came with the bose radio - I think that's needed for the functionality. So make sure it works with the radio furst. As for the nav controls, ask the guy you got the system from for the shifter boot surround that has the proper cutout in place.
