Opinion on possible purchase
Hey everyone,
I am considering buying some pedals for new P5 (two wks old today...hehe) because pedals are a cheap mod that improves the interior look (unless anyone has another option for a cheap mod).
Do you think these will look good inside of my P5? Let me know!

Well, if you feel like waiting, my carbon fiber Razo pedals will be in today and I will be installing them either this afternoon or first thing in the morning. They are going to be automatic pedals though
Another thing, I'm not sure if you looked at www.optauto.com , but they have the pedals for the same price as Nopi with a hell of a lot better customer service. Five years ago, I would be talking good things about Nopi, but I've watched their service go down the *******

I installed some Razos. I encountered two problems.
First, the instructions are in Japanese, and while there IS an english translation, it's not an especially good one. It is also rather amusing, seeing all the diagrams drawn for right-hand drive cars. But that's easy to overcome.
The second problem is that the bolts used to put the pedals on are REALLY LONG. Furthermore, the bottom edge of the clutch pedal is somewhat rough. This means that after repeated clutching, you've dug little holes in the carpet under your pedal.
My solution was to trim the bolts down and sand the underside of the pedal, then cover them with that self-adhesive felt padding, but the damage was already done. Luckily, it's pretty far up under the dash, and so you can't really see it.
So you might want to watch out for those things.

I can't get a link to work right. Go to my homepage and click and interior pics, page 2. There are auto pedals installed.
The problem I ran into is the gas pedal doesn't fit right. Dewey, did you run into this problem? The razo pedal wants to sit too far to the right. I will have to fabricate a better bracket than what comes with the kit.
