I had to look at it three times. The first time I was like "Yeah it'll work...naaa, its too...wait! Heck yeah I can get with that." It looks pretty tight. Thats creativity, just like Boostedmp5.

Hey WIngman21, you should try it. If you don't like it just peel it off. It should be over $15 for some vinyl and plus we can see some pics.

BTW, you're giving me ideas now. Going on photoshop as soon as I finish my homework.

sorry bud, but my opinion, don't waste your time. It will come out looking cheap. Doesn't look all that good either, but that is just my opinion.,

Someone please define Ricey, because I'm sick and tired of ppl using this term as a backbone for there argument.

My definition of Ricey: Someone adding racing like modifications to there car to make it LOOK fast but isn't in no way. These "fake me out mods" are useless in a 'so called' street legal car. For example, 12in or higher ALUMINUM spoiler, decals of performance mods that you DON'T have (NOS, Audiobahn, Turbo, etc.), flames and strips on a tiny little 4cylinder cars, putting a higher model emblems on your lower model cars such as GT-R on a Maxima or Type R on a 4dr Civic. Making a false impersonation of another better, higher quality and faster car. For instance, putting J-Spec Honda Integra headlights on an American Acura Integra.

What are y'all definitions of Ricey? Call me a jerk if y'all want, but everytime a see someone saying Rice w/out supporting there argument, I'm going to say something.

I see myself as a resolver. One who takes up for another when someone is flaming another persons car and have no strong reason for why they are flaming.

BTW ProtegeDX, this is in NO WAY towards you. I'm adressing this to everyone who uses Rice with NO Reasoning.

Yeah thats right... amen sista...

I don't get what the big deal is, just try it. A little piece of vinyl that big won't cost you squat. and it comes off too...

and ricey??? aren't all jap cars ricey??? ... why are you on this forum if you don't want to do things to your car? Mazda pride??? hahahaha whatever... what a punk, its a damn CAR!

I'm on this site to see what Mods people have done to their cars, so i dunno why people who "just want to keep their cars completly stock and dis others who don't" are doing joining an online protege club...

Peace... and i love to eat rice btw cus' i'm fu**ing asian.

I would suggest to keep more symmetrical, just for an aestetic beauty. For example, try to cut either all circles, or all elipses, or all squares. I would say, go for the round look, and work out a combo of circles and elipses.

Beauty and vinyl are mutually exclusive.

Vinyl is for floors, not cars.

I like all the people in here hating on good taste.

rice is a broad term with no real definition and can be bended in a lotta ways. your explanation is correct for rice (in my state of thinking, dont know about other people. they might enjoy putting all those things you included in ur description of rice). also anything tacky is rice. there are exceptions tho... have u seen cars that are rice but they are also clean? car all hooked up, body kit, rims, dropped, wing, altezzas and no body art or stickers.. clean because its complete without tacky accessories. now tacky rice is rims, undropped, altezzas and a high wing stickers, etc etc.. lol.

well man, dont blame u for gettin on the rice thing cuz lotta people use that term just because they see something not parallel to their taste or liking.

i just think those tail lights on the 3rd gen protege are nice, simple and perfect and those covers or paint or whatever it is, is unecassary.

tail lights are banger. leavem untouched

This is exactly my definition of RICEY
I get so confused when people start to say its ricey, but really in that definition it ain't ricey at all

HAHAHAHA....using Java to define rice
but what may be crappy mods in ones mind, may seem to be wicked mods in anothers mind,

I say its all about your own opinion on what mods you like, but i hate it when its the persons opinion of not liking it, but to back that up, they just say its ricey, if you don't like it, say you don't, but don't start using rice as your backup to not liking it

I'm Indian, (Punjabi), and we eat alot of rice also
