Opinions on these 5x7 component speakers for P5 front door...
Please let me know if you think these would be adequate, junk, or whatever other opinion you may have of these. I'm looking at possibilities for component speakers in the front door of my 2002.5 P5.
I have a kenwood 50watts x 4 amp to run all the door speakers.
These would fit, right?

Yep, those 5X7's would fit without having to do any modifications. However, since you have a 2002.5, there is a tweeter already installed in the sail planes. These cars are so new (the dealer that i bought my P5 a year ago still doesn't carry any 2002.5s!) that no one knows whether they are a direct replacement or not. Might need some minor modifications.
Also, i've heard that round speakers sound better, so you might want to check out 5.25" components (or 6.5")... but i guess that's a matter of taste.

are the 2002.5 that hard to find? I bought mine about 5 weeks ago, the dealer had a few in stock at the time too.
The tweeters should be a direct fit. However, I would also get 6.5"components instead of 5x7 b/c they produce a richer, fuller sound.
