Yeah, I'm not a fan of Altezzas either. But then again I feel the same way about eyebrows and black wheels. Bottom line= To each their own. If you like it go for it! Sorry to see about all your A/V stuff getting ripped off, hope they didn't vandalize the car while they were at it.

I know I posted on this before, but after seeing some of the other pics I think it is just the contrast to the dark blue that I didn't like. The red, white and silver look good. I still wouldn't get those, but a set of cf ones may do me fine, though I am still weary because of the quality of most altezzas on the market, so until i see a nice set of cf ones that have a good track record I am sticking with the stocks.

I really like the stock ones. One aspect of the P5 that caught my attention, besides the handling and utility of the hatchback was the lights, both front and rear. I especially liked the configuration of the rears with the two silver circles. Somewhat altezza style but not overboard. Definitely different (no orange). I'm not fond of the J-spec look either. Taillights have looked like that for the last 20 years on imported cars. I think Mazda North America did a great job on the tails, trying both to satisfy the people who want altezza and/or traditional looks. Kudos to the designer who made this choice, a very stylized and contemporary compromise!

I think they look sweet. Especially on white and red. I think red is the best. When the CF come out, they will be the best.

Someone should try that, i think it would look a lot better on the darker colors that way. Although you do run the risk of really messing up the altezzas in the process and for $189 that is a lot to mess up. But if anyone does do it post pics so we can see how it comes out.

How are these tail lights better than the stock ones? do they perform better? do they have integrated rear fog lights? im guessing no to both? I dont really see a reason anyone would buy them for other than the looks.
Its for personality and originality.

I kinda like them!!

I go a White P5 and i think it looks pretty good, however I would prefer carbon fiber over it... have you guys seen the rear light set for the RSX from APC... I like that "rivet" look!!

How's this for personality and originality? Now all I need is a donor '59 caddy!
