Painting

I saw a honda that had the windshield wiper arms painted to match the car. I was wondering if anybody had tried this with their protege and how hard it would be to take off the wiper arms.

Taking off the wiper arms is a piece of cake....pop the hood, at the bottom of the arm where it pivots there is a plastic plug on top of the arm...just pop it off....under it you will find a 10 mm nut...remove the nut....and the wiper arm comes right off....you REALLY don't need to open the hood....but it makes it a little easier to get at the one on the drivers side.

as far as painting them? I havn't seen anyone do that yet....I have seen the colored wipers....I don't like them...it disturbs the blacked out look of the entire window section of our cars....keep them black.
