Painting Dust Sheild

Hey I was thinking of painting my dust sheilds to match my calipers. How do I go about painting them? Do I just use caliper paint? Does anyone have some pics of what they look like painted? Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm gonna paint my calipers yellow so I was thinking of matching them up.

If I were you, I'd just powder coat the calipers the color you want them and not worry about the dust shields... but since you may not have access to PC'ing like me, I'd just use some nice caliper paint. Make sure the paint and calipers are warm before you paint though.

Blue and yellow would look odd IMO. Painting the calipers red or blue would be better. I wouldn't worry about the dust shield that much. Paint just the calipers first to see if you like the final result and make sure you post some pics once you get it done

the dust shield is a metal piece on the inside of the rotor ....

powder coat is a type of finish........ do a search on the forum for pics........

and no, I don't think orange would look good at all on a silver p5.
not unless you are a girl of course
