Painting Side Markers??

Painting Side Markers??
Hey, i got a question.
Is there anything i have to do to paint the side markers on my Pro5??
This is something that i want to do:
This is just a quick photoshop job, but i'd use masking tape to cut the letters out, and just paint using touch up paint i got from the dealer.
So, when i have the parking lights on, the MP5 will kinda glow.
What do you think??

no offence dude...but that aint much of a shoppe job....ever use the masking tool? and how about the Text tool?
as far as the REAL question....it would be different.....and on a dark colored car...it may look decent. I think you would need to SPRAY the lens' though...to make them smoothe.

No Offsense taken.
Hmm, masking too?? nope.
Text Tool, yeah, tried it.
I know its a really bas half assed job i know..
But would i have to sand the side markers or can i just put the tape on and paint and let it dry, and add a few coats??

I think it wouldn't hurt to scuff up the light a little with some really fine sand paper to give the paint something to HOLD onto....that way its a LOT less likely to peel or flake off....but seriously....figure out a way to SPRAY them...NOT brush it on with the touchup paint....that would look cheesey, all the brush strokes and all
FIRST use the text tool such that it leaves a SELECTION insted of a color....that way the original lens color and reflectiveness will show through the blue after you use the masking tool....you know the one that allows you to outline something with the "marching ants" its like making a "selection" then everything inside or outside it is UNEFFECTED by whatever you are doing....then just use the paint bucket tool to DUMP the blue on the image inside the selection.....then everything turns blue with the exception of the text.

Take the lens off your car, make a mask of the "mp5" (i wont get all pissed because an mp5 is a gun)
and then spray the whole lens, and once it dries take fof the mask, which will leave behind the letteres, allowing light to shine tyhrough them

it fires 800RPM, 9mm rounds and it weighs 2.1KG
mp5s are made by HK, also one of the best guns in counterstrike!
