Here is a pic of what DaveB's brushed rings look like in a 99 cluster. I like em.
That, and my pro passed 66,666 miles on I40 just inside Oklahoma.

looks pretty nice man
i wish i had them
they look sweet
and happy 66,666 miles to your car
i was wondering where you trying to pass a car
or something because you had about 3.3K rpm
going 65mph
my car(1.6l) would touch 3.0k at 70mph
i know your engine is 1.8l
why is that
thanks

Good question, I dunno. Possible, but not likely, is that the 1.8 has different gear ratios? (I really don't know)
I was too busy taking the picture to pass anyone. I was actually cruising at 82mph for the most part, slowed down for safety during the pic.
Actually, Infinity_X pointed out that the gauge shows 66mph
Check yours out at 5th gear at 3k (take a pic if you can), and I'll take another pic of mine in 5th gear at 3k, and we'll see what happens.

but, last night, i had to go out on the highway
and found out :
3K @ 68MPH

rpm to wheel speed has nothing to do with the engine. The engine output is 3k, it is the gearing and other stuff inbetween the wheels and the output that determines the speed. This is interesting, however. Thanks.
