Power mirrors in stereo
When I adjust the power mirrors I can hear the motor through my stereo. Is that a dealer issue or did the guys who installed the stereo screw something up and it just took a few days to start acting up?

you are just picking up the motor whine, its being amplified by your amp and feeding into the speakers.....its not a real biggie....I have had cars before where you could hear the ALTENATOR whine in the speakers till I installed a filter in the power lead to the head unit.....but think about it......do you really adjust your mirrors that much ? its not like its constantly whining. I guess its a personal thing....me....I don't think I would worry about it.

mirror noise
Try installing a power filter on your ACC line of the stereo(Usually ther Red wire) If that doesn't help install it on the memory wire.(usually the yellow wire. This took all the noises out of my car.

RF waves? That's a neat trick. Do you mean EMI? I have two Alpine amps installed and a Kenwood head unit. I don't get any noise from the ignition system, or any other power accessories. Improper grounding can cause this sort of noise. Lower quality components are also more susceptible to picking up Electro Magnetic Interference and may require filters to reduce the noise. I would take it back to the place that installed it, and ask them to fix it.

THose sparks create RF waves, much like a spark gap transmitter (primitive radio). When you sue motors in your car, the stereo pics up those RF waves and you hear them. my CB radio pics up the sparks of my plugs, and when i accelerate i faintly hear the buzz rise with the rev's. its perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.
