Power Window Auto-Wind Problem
Hi people.
Just recently I noticed that my Driver Window doesn't seem to wind up and down automatically like it used to. It still works normally with no hitches. But now, when you click just that bit further which would normally initiate the auto feature, it does nothing. Just continues to wind as long as hold the button.
Anyone know why this has happened? Or what to do to fix it?
Is it something mechanical, or more likely something like a fuse or something?
I really don't know, so appreciate any ideas...
Cheers.

you had auto up as well?
The second detent is for the auto feature, I forget what it looks like, but it's just current limited... so when it sees a high current it shuts off. So i'd guess that your window is also moving slower than it used to - which is drawing more current - so the auto down trips off immediately.
If it had auto up and down from the factory, it's a module or motor sensor problem. I didn't think the mazda had one touch up windows though... I got the AutoLocs WC1000 off ebay and have one touch up/down windows all around - basic but handy system. Though if you change to something like this you need an extra ground run to the doors for the module power.
