i got some PIAA 55watt H3 bulbs for my fog lights on my P5....problem is i don't know how to remove the existing bulbs in the fog lights....they sure don't make it easy!


could somebody give me some instructions on how to do it....carefully....

 

My first ? is have you gotten the foglight assembly removed.

what you have to do is get the car on ramps. Then you have to take out the screws (plastic) holding the covering on the bottom of the car up at the front where the fogs are at. Then you can kinda peak around and see the nut holding the foglamp in place. You will need a a box end or open end wrench to remove the nut, a socket wrench will not fit. Cant remember the size of wrench but it is metric maybe 14mm. Hope this helps.

 

ok so its just that main bolt holding it on, i had the plasic cover off but then relized there were a couple of bolts on the assembly, i did notice that one main bolt, i'll prob take another stab at it this weekend when i can do it in the light
