radio CD player Q
my radio sucks in my used 2000 protege. we got in about 2 months ago. Our friends have one that is a year newer, they have no problems with the radio and their antenna is longer than ours.
Can you buy new antennas and would this help?
Also, the random feature on our CD player stopped working. It was fine for a few weeks after we got it, then started not working. You press on the button and it finds a random song, but then it becomes unprogrammed, and just plays them in normal order after that. Worth repairing or just get a new one? Our car also has a tape deck as well as the CD player....is that standard or an option?

Man one thing about me is I have to have a new headunit any car I get. Because I like the looks of the after market ones as well as the functions and options. So I would buy a decent pioneer etc and hook it up nice. The stock radios suck anywho.
