Re-Tinted my Car Saturday
i went ahead and re-tinted my car, while i have been "ticket free" for the awhile, it's only a matter of time (have gotten 3 so far ) and with winter coming up (ya i know, not a big deal in SoCal, but hey it's cold for us ) i figured, i'd try to avoid the $77 fine.....
I had an 18% Llumar film all around and it was a great look, as the film is blue in color, but this time i went for the classy look. I used an all metal film, 35% on all the windows. While i still need to get used to the "i feel like i'm in a fishbowl" effect, it looks real good. The film is VERY reflective. at certain angles, it's a mirror and at others, it's rather clear, kinda like chameloen <sp> paint.
It goes well with the slivery/blue paint color. I'll take some pics soon and post em up. Just thought i'd share......
