Removing some interior trims
I tried to remove the black plastic piece around the base of the steering wheel (3rd Gen, Pro5)
but after taking off the 2 scres at the top I still couldn't pry out the piece...seem to be held in place by some more screws on the bottom...anyone know where they are? our cuz I wasn't pulling hard enough???
wanted to pain that piece silver to match the interior =D

I just took mine off. Unscrew the top screws, and then at the base, stick your finger between the 'crack' on each side of the steering column and from there pull forward to pry off the plastic. Don't worry it won't break. It's just held on by some more clips.
