Question Ripping that Dashboard out

I am going to be pulling off my dashboard this weekend to do some customized painting. I have a 92 DX. Is there a method of taking off the dash(besides removing all of the screws)? I tried once before, and didn't have any luck.

Basically is there more to it than just removing the screws and lifting it out?

i'm not too sure about taking the dash out, but post some pics after you paint your interior! i've been very interested in doing that lately, but i'm a little apprehensive. are you gonna use paint or dye? what color are you going with? i think i'm gonna pick up a few pieces at the junkyard before i actually go for it on my car. let us know how it turns out though.
