No! I used a saw on the lens', sorry I sould have clarified that. The backs of the lens need to be cut down a little bit. Only cutting on the car is shaving about 4mm off one of the holes in the bumper.

Yup, I think Im going to do that now. Just tell me two things where and what kind of molding did you use, and what adhesive?

The trim is the kind you can get to go around the edges of the doors to keep them from getting dinged. And I used plain old Automotive Super Glue.

glue..

so did u glue the moulding to the sidemarker light only.. or to the car and the sidemarker light? also i have heard horror stories about doing this conversion and having to rig a bungee cord to pull the lenses in toward the car? did your just pop in and sit pretty much flush or did u too have to use something to pull them towards the middle?

The trim is glued to the lens. They didn't sit flush. That's what it trim is for, to cover up the gap. No bungee cords though...

No you got me thinking. Ive never taken of a side marker, so i dont know what would normally hold it in there. What was there bo fore to keep it from falling out? Some kinda clips or was it just glued on the side?

Just a clip holding the stock one on. The new one has a screw that holds it in (the screw doesn't go into the body though).

It just pushes up aginst the inside of the bumper, it doesn't actually screw in to it.
