Hey Sharon,

Yeah it is actually just on the front part of the hood, just as if it was one of those black bra things.

The first time I thought there were too many air bubbles trapped under the stoneguard and that did not look good. So as I said, the dealer put it on so the dealer had to fix it.

As for the links to the page, I am not sure how to do that. I'll try something next and see if it works.

Cheers

Hell I've seen the car in person and I didn't notice that the stone guard was there. Any idea on what it cost to have it done?

Hi Jay

I think it varies from dealer to dealer. I believe Weber was charging around $400 for the install and the dealer in Leduc is less. I really can't say how much as it was part of a deal I worked out with him. I can probably find out for you though.

By the way, nice meeting you at the lake. Hmmm, sound like code.

Cheers

There's a place in Calgary called 3M trimline....They have a website that has pics of the stuff. www.trimlinecalgary.com

I once had a quote from them, but that was a long time ago. I believe it was something like $400 or so.

Hi Richard

Thanks for the info, however, at the very bottom of the posting area, there is a pat for the forum rules and one of them says

you may not post attachments

Hmmm, what's up wth that? Do I have to register a different way?

As for the stuff on the headlights etc, I think I will do as you say and check out Ron there. By the way the car is in getting its eyebrow done so hopefully I can post some pics here when it is done.

Cheers

If you Edmonton guys are looking at a $$ on the 3m Rockguard -

When I had my tinting done at EUROPEAN AUTO TINT they quoted me 220 for the rockguard. That covered the first 12 inches of the hood, the headlights and the fog lights.

That's next on my wish list.

Hi Richard

Okay I do not see any section below the options called ATTACH FILE. I wonder if my browser is not set up right or something else?

Is it because you are a moderator?

I've got a little linux webserver at home that I host my stuff on. I was thinking of making it avalible to all the Edmonton people, so they'd have a reliable place to host pictures on. I would just have to figure out a mechanism to allow people to dump files on it (it sits behins another linux firewall).

Would there be any interest? (It would be a trial, to see how much bandwidth is used )

Hi Jay

Thanks for the offer but I really don't want to cause you too much trouble. Are you with Shaw? If so you have to be careful as a friend of mine got shut down for using his machine as a server causing excessive bandwith. Just a thought.

I did have a web site but when Home.com got changed, I lost it and I hve been having trouble setting it up at Shaw. Must be something I am doing wrong. I am looking into it. I will have to ask my son as he is the computer wiz in the family. So I should be able to post pics soon.

Cheers

This is why I said that I'd do it as a test I review my apache logs so that I can see who (where) is generating the most traffic on my box. Right now it is sitting idle most of the time. I also have the option of running some webspace at work, where I don't have to worry as much about bandwidth (Unless I am doing a gig out everyday).

At any rate I don't think it will be a problem, I doubt that there would be that much traffic generated, unless people start posting ****

So if I post a pic of my P5 without a bra would that be considered ****? Hmmm, sounds kinky.

Serious though, I guess you would have to set up some sort of ftp site? I am only a bit familiar with Linux.

Cheers
